INS250N 10-INCH INTEGRATING SPHERE
The INS250N Integrating Sphere is a versatile 10-inch integrating sphere capable of measuring watts, lumens, etc. from a wide variety of light sources from small miniature sources such as miniature halogen lamps, LEDs, small neon lamps up to larger sources such as high power LED modules and many automotive lamps. The included built-in standard transfer lamp and 5VDC power can be used to accurately adjust calibration for almost any application.
§ Measure laser power, beam candela, mean spherical candle power, LED intensity, and large diameter beam flux.
§ Spectral range: 225 to 1400 nm
§ Support and base designed for easy positioning or mounting on any flat surface as well as an optical bench.
§ Internally baffled to eliminate direct detector exposure and first-bounce measurements.
§ 3 orthogonal ports - 37.6 mm (1.5) diameter entrance ports with port adapter mounting rings (42 mm diameter)
§ 2 port plugs and one A250 port plug/lamp adapter equipped with two feed-thru pins to allow power to the light source to be measured while blocking leakage from the outside.
§ Calibrated standard transfer lamp with output in millicandela.
§ Built-in standard transfer lamp and 5VDC power can be used to accurately adjust calibration for almost any application.
§ 12 (hinged), 6, 4 and 2 diameter Integrating Spheres are also available. |

The INS250N Integrating Sphere is a versatile 10-inch integrating sphere capable of measuring a wide variety of light sources from small miniature sources such as miniature halogen lamps, LEDs, small neon lamps up to larger sources such as high power LED modules and many automotive lamps. Coupled with the ILT1700 Research Radiometer or ILT1400 series Radiometer/Photometer and the appropriate detector, the INS250N is capable of direct measurement in a wide variety of optical units including: candela, watts/steradian, watts, lumens, watts/cm2, lux, and joules.
When used with the ILT950 Spectroradiometer, the INS250N becomes a powerful light source analysis tool capable of measuring spectral distribution, CCT, color coordinates and more!
Typical applications for the INS250N include: laser power, beam candela, mean spherical candle power, LED intensity, and large diameter beam flux.
The interior surface of the sphere is coated with #6080 White Reflecting Coating which produces a stable, efficient and highly diffuse reflectance over a broad wavelength (see graph). The newly redesigned support and base allows for greater flexibility in mounting and positioning the integrating sphere on both table surfaces and optical benches. Any of the three ports may be used as either the detector port or the source port. The calibrated transfer standard lamp with integrated power supply allows the user to maintain accuracy in making absolute measurements with a light source and holder that were not present during the factory calibration by allowing the user to easily adjust for the change in reflectance.
